Le visage du froid
An icy wall emerges from the clouds, fragmented with milky blues and opaque whites, like a mineral face half-hidden by the breath of the clouds. Mario Colonel captures this apparition with an ethereal approach, allowing the mountain to reveal itself in layers, between presence and effacement.

It is the most popular type of framing in contemporary art for its elegant and minimalist presentation. It is distinguished by its peripheral air gap that gives the impression that the artwork is floating inside the frame. This refined rendering highlights the image while emphasizing depth and volume, making it the preferred option for artists, galleries, and art professionals. It enhances the artwork while respecting its visual identity, offering a professional finish.
